Welcome to the Board of Public Relation's Page

 

The Board of Public Relations shall:

  • Be served by a chairman elected at the October Association meeting to serve for a two-year term with the possibility to succeed them self one time;
  • Consist of at least five (5) members including the Director and the four state directors ;
  • Present to the public a Christian image reflecting favorably upon the Association;
  • Publicize the Camp and the work of the Association through various channels;
  • Develop useful means of becoming a better servant to the congregations in the region;
  • Distribute a newsletter on a continuing schedule for publicity for the Association and its activities;
  • Prepare and distribute appropriate messages for publication in congregational newsletters, bulletins, etc.;
  • Work for the overall enhancement of the AssociationŐs image in the various news media and publications of the community and the region;
  • Establish and maintain friendly relationships between the Association and the professional, community, service and governmental agencies within the community and the region;
  • Keep the Association informed of developments within the region that will influence or affect the Association;
  • Submit an annual budget request to the Board of Finance in the form and at the time requested by that Board;
  • Review annually, the Camp brochure for updates and provide for the printing of such;
  • Prepare and issue, together with the Board of Fellowship/Activities, the brochures and mailings regarding the program of activities and fellowship being offered at the camp.
