How to get to Lutherwood

The camp is located 2 miles east of Long Valley Junction, UT
on a well graded and marked gravel road.
The camp and access road are now visible in GoogleMaps

Located at the junction of US 89 and Utah Rt 14 right on the edge of Cedar Breaks National Monument and half way between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Both are less than an hour away from the camp. We're also only an hour away from Cedar City, Utah and its summer Tony award winning Shakespeare Festival.

An altitude of 7500 ft makes for pleasant summer after-noons of 70-80 degrees and evenings from 40-60 degrees, just right for camp fires!

Below are several sets of directions from main starting points around the West.

From Las Vegas over Cedar Breaks 3.5 hours
Scenic!, curvy, high altitude (10,000 feet)
Quickest, if Utah SR 14 is open.(storms, snow)
Not recommended for long trailers.
Watch for deer ESPECIALLY at twilight

From Las Vegas through Zion National Park and tunnel 4 hours
Requires Park Entry Fee or Pass
Spectacular scenery. Should be on everyone's "bucket list"
Trailer, RV Large Vehicle Info

From Las Vegas to Lutherwood through Kanab, Utah 4.5 hours.
No park or fees, no high altitude. Easiest for big rigs and long trailers.

From Flagstaff, Arizona using US 89 Alt N 4.5 hours.
Passes the Entrance to North Rim, Grand Canyon and beautiful pine forest.

From Flagstaff through Page, Arizona
4.5 hours. Cross the Colorado River at Page, AZ on the Glenn Canyon Dam at Lake Powell.

From Salt Lake City 4.5 hours From Grand Junction, Colorado 5.3 hours

From Reno, Nevada via US 50 10 hours.
